I was fortunate enough to have dinner at Quay this week with friends. We were sat in the circular part of the restaurant at the end away from circular quay. It was wonderful. The view of the harbour spectacular. We had the tasting menu. The wait staff were delightful. There was nothing pretentious about this restaurant.
My review of Quay is function based. We had our wedding here and found the service was as best as it could be. This is not just from the bridal party, but feedback from the guests as well.
The maitre d was fantastic. Issues to address were discretely and promptly attended to with the flow of the evening smooth and professional due to the efforts of all staff.
Food was perfect and delivered on everything you would expect from taste to presentation.
I would highly recommend Quay Green Room for private functions.
Amazing food and incredible view. Pricey, but would rather eat here once than go to three average restaurants. Such intricate dishes and quality produce.
Tick off the bucket list
Amazing views, good service, food is great quality and portion wise it's perfect.
Was little concerned there wouldn't be enough food towards the end however size of degustation is perfect.
Congee is very strong seafood flavour. Pork is one of the tenderest of few we've ever had. Snow cone is amazing. One of the best meringues we've had. Cannot fault anything probably apart from the classic wine list pairings.
We both agree we enjoyed Sepia's degustation more than Quay however Quay is a must do and tick off the bucket list.
Divine. Food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Nothing was a problem for the staff and they made us feel very welcome.
There are a few options for food, we had 4 courses which included the famous Snow Egg. Very extensive wine and beverages list. This is a must try!
