Место высадки капитана Кука на берег Австралии. До памятной таблички не замочив ноги можно добраться только во время отлива.
Never been to this side before but it was a great place for a walk and a little bit of history. There are plenty of things to read along the track and weather (when we went) was beautiful with a little breeze. Lots of families having a picnic during easter long weekend but still a quiet and well kept place. Enjoy the trees and paths as well as the view of the water. If you park through the Centre gates there is a car entry fee, but on the streets towards the beach, no parking fee, so it can get busy. Would definitely come back.
Good place to get some sun, best place to visit in winter when sun is out. There are toilets near cricket ground parking. Didn't find the driving water around. Great place to take a stroll. Place is great to take photographs.
Really good place to land a longboat after sailing from England... just saying
Beautiful location. nice walk and Museum is educational.
Fantastic setting in the National Park overlooking the calm enclosed waters of the vast Botany Bay. Perfect for families or large groups, plenty of room to play or relax on nice grassed areas. Ideal for picnics or BarBQs. Historic marker site of where Captain Cook first set foot on Australian soil in April 1770. Close to water and long sandy beaches, handy for a dip, strolling along or beach-combing.
